There is something so therapeutic about working on an assembly line. After a minute or two your hands do what they are supposed to while your mind wanders aimlessly, flitting from this to that or nothing.
And with my cute Man next to me in his cap and apron, chatting more than we honestly have in weeks about this and that and laughing over honestly who knows what, it was the perfect scenario. And the perfect date night.
We went to the cannery together to help can peaches.
It was therapeutic.
It was a night of service.
We got to go to dinner....alone.
He was so cute in his cap and apron.
It was the perfect date.
You should try it.

P.S. And I forgot to say that I bet your new hairdo looked cute even under y-o-u-r cap! I'll bet you got twenty compliments on your haircut either before or after you put on the cap!

I have never been actually but have always wanted to go. It seems every time there is a signup, I have something I can't get out of. I should just go on my own.
