Today I get to tell you about a fantastic product I got to review and you can win one too! I've seen these around on blogs and wanted to see how my twins would like them. You'll soon see for yourself just how much they did!
I got to review one of these cute little Baby Dipper bowl and spoon sets. Since I have twins I decided I would do a side by side comparison. So I gave Iz the Baby Dipper and Win our regular old baby bowl and spoon. (please note: we are renting so just know I did not and would never choose that wallpaper and paneling!)
At first Roo wanted to feed Iz. But soon he wanted to feed himself. I loved how the bowl stayed put the entire time. In the end it turned out that both of my boys loved it! As you can see Win decided that he wanted some of what was in Iz's cool bowl. Then I took a picture of each bowl to show how it was so much easier for Iz to clean his bowl out than Win. There was still so much left in the other bowl! And also notice that the "other" bowl is about to fall off the tray but the Baby Dipper is still safely sitting in the middle of the tray. I LOVE this product and my only problem now is that I need another! Luckily at only $12.96 for a set it won't break the bank!

This would be for my 1 1/2 yr old - and the next and the next babies that have yet to be conceived. The funniest messy eating story I have is from my 3rd child's 1'st Bday party. I had made a chocolate cake and when we gave him his piece we were ready for him to make a mess. But he was really very dainty about it and only got his hands messy - maybe because he was really tired and just wanted to go to bed. So I got up from the table to grab a towel for a quick wipe down before naptime and right as I turned my back he rubbed his eyes. Chocolate cake was "caked" into his eyebrows and eyelashes. And then he started rubbing more and more to get it out of his eyes and before we knew it we had a genuine mess on our hands (and the table and the floor). But the upside is that now we have those cute "total mess with his first birthday cake" pics. Gotta love that.
ReplyDeleteI love that there is no mess. My 2 year old could use this wanting to feed himself at all times!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to my sister--expecting her first after 9 years in July, so in need of some good baby gear!
ReplyDeleteI subscribe and love it!
ReplyDeleteI also love you so much I follow you!
ReplyDeleteMy baby is turning 2 in a matter of weeks so I'd probably give it to someone who could really use it. Like maybe someone who has twins or something. But they'd have to LOVE it as much as you do.
ReplyDeleteMy twin make awful messes when they eat-and they have so much fun doing so.
ReplyDeletePlus I run a daycare and have tons of kids who love to make huge messes!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those little lovies!!
ReplyDeletePea is my messy girl. I've taken to stripping her down at lunch and dinner. I'm tired of changing that girl 3 times a day. Today for instance, she had a PB&J. We can't just eat a sammie. No, we peel it apart and eat only the insides of the sammie. Therefore, wearing most of it. It's cute as can be, but messy.
Love the idear of little dippers though!

ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to win this for the next baby in our extended family or for the next baby shower I am invited to!
ReplyDeleteThe messiest eating experience was probably any meal when they were learning to feed themselves. I remember baby cereal in their hair, on the floor, all over the high chair, all over them, etc! I would LOVE to find a cleaner solution to the self-feeding experience - this bowl and spoon set sounds just right!

This would be for my baby. She's not due to be born for 4 more weeks, so she's a ways a way from feeding herself, but we'd hold on to it for her. Thanks for the giveaway!

We really need this! My 15-month-old son is so messy. He's just learning to eat with a spoon, so I think this would help that process along. Every meal is messy. All I can say, is thank goodness for our dog.
