Family Time and a giveaway

So....what do you do to relax and hang with your family?  Do you go for a walk?  Go to the park?  What about during those cold winter months.....which are thankfully almost over.  I hope.....

Well....one of our favorite things to do is to watch movies as a family.  But it seems to be getting harder and harder to find movies that we can all watch together.  It seems like my husband and I are either totally bored with the little kiddie cartoon movies, or it's a movie I would never in a million years let my kids watch.  Most the time the kids are watching their movie downstairs while we're watching ours upstairs.  So it doesn't really end up being family time at all.

That is why I am so excited to get to watch Secrets of the Mountain with my family!  It is airing TOMORROW NIGHT on NBC.  You don't want to miss it!  Here is the trailer:

To get you excited about it I am giving away both the “Secrets of The Mountain” DVD and the soundtrack, produced by Randy Jackson courtesy of MSL Worldwide. This bundle is also going to be available at Walmart on April 17th if you miss it on Friday or don't win the giveaway.

To enter just leave me a comment telling me what your family does together.

(And feel free to do any extra entries if you want. You can subscribe, follow, follow on twitter, tweet, blog, stumble, get my button, whatever you feel like doing go ahead and do and let me know and I'll count it. If you don't feel like doing any extras no worries, that's fine too. ;)

This giveaway will end April 21 and I will choose a winner the next day. Good luck!

I was sent a package from MSL Worldwide with a cute movie box, the movie trailer and popcorn to get us excited about the movie.  I was not compensated in any other way.

  1. Ohh. This sounds like a fun giveaway! And a great movie!!I wanna see this movie. I even think my family will watch it with me too! :)

How we spend our time together:
Playing games. When we take the time and play the games we have, we usually have fun together, we laugh, we eat popcorn, we play our games.

I also think we would have a good time in Disneyland together. But I have yet to take them to see Mickey yet.

Someday. Someday Soon I hope. :)

  5. Watching movies is one way we spend time. One half of the family likes outdoor stuff, the other half likes to stay inside. I'd like a movie we could all watch. Too many times it's kids movies we don't like, or adult movies that kids shouldn't see.

  10. We are empty nesters, so please do not consider this an entry.

We use to do ALL kinds of things, bowling, movies, going sledding on Mt. Baker during winter, then of course with all the kids activities, we were always watching their concerts, plays, games, meets, etc.

Now it is just Papa and I. It is taking some time to get use to being by ourselves, even though we have longed for this alone time ever since we were married and had an immediate family.

This looks like an exciting movie that both Papa and I will enjoy and can't wait to see it. thanks for letting us know, we have been having a hard time finding a good one these days!
