My first Giveaway in honor of National TV turnoff week!

This giveaway is now closed. Sorry.
This is my first giveaway ever and also my first time in a giveaway carnival. This is a great week because I have been pushing
National TV turnoff week which is this week! I sell Simply Fun games and products and I will be giving Grabbage away to a lucky winner. Grabbage is a bag full of card games to play with your family and friends. I'm sorry to admit this but I'm not really into face cards so this is actually like my least favorite game from the games I sell. They have so many great games for all ages. Make sure you check out my website for more fun games, crafts, puzzles and activities. I believe in bringing families and friends together for some face to face fun!

Here's how you enter my giveaway: leave a comment telling me why you need more quality time with family and friends. This does not have to be long or involved, I just love hearing more about you.
I will choose the winner from the entries. You can leave a comment anytime through Friday, April 25 and I will post and contact the winner by Monday, April 28. If I don't hear from you within three days I will pick a new winner!
You do not have to have a blog but you must provide your email address so I can contact you if you win. I can only ship to the US, sorry. I am low on fundage and am still buying way too many diapers. If you don't end up winning, feel free to check out my website and order anytime. So turn off your TV this week and get busy playing and making memories!

And don't forget to check out all the great giveaways this week at the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival!

  2. I definitely need more quality time with family and friends. We are so busy that it's so easy to be disconnected and exhausted. We love playing games together, but don't do it often enough. I'd love to win this, it's a game we don't have!

  7. My husband and I have been married 30 years and have gotten into the nasty habit of sitting down to watch TV every night - night after night. It would be fun to have games to play! We used to do this and I'm not sure why we still don't! Would be especially nice for when grandson comes to spend the night - family night!

  13. My DH is a mechanic and also farms full time -- I work full time, am a wife to a farmer and mother to 2 young girls. I just need ways to help us stay connected (we're all happier when we are actively doing things together).

  17. We love playing games, but we seldom take the time to do it. I don't know why that is. I think it makes a great family time activity and is a great way to socialize with friends for an inexpensive evening of fun. I would love to be entered in your giveaway.

  18. I need more quality family time not because I'm too busy (I don't even own a tv) but because I live an hour away from parents and siblings. I try to visit as often as possible but it still gets lonely at times.

  19. my best friend is moving three states away next month and i need to make new friends!

  20. My family lives 1000 miles away, but I could definitely use this to get time with my friends. Though I love my friends, I can be a bit of a hermit and dedicate myself complete to my studies without regard for social time and one-another-ing. This would help!

  21. My husband and I just bought a house out in the country. At the moment we don't have internet (but that will soon be rectified) and there are no chanels which come in on the tv. At first this was AWFUL but after three weeks I'm getting used to it. At this point I don't forsee us getting cable/dish television. We might up our Netflix subsription to a few more at a time... but we would love to have more game nights with one another. I think that can be a really healthy thing in a relationship.

Having as many new games keeps my kids loving to play with me, and if I can keep my 16 year old still interesting, I'm doing something right!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. My family tends to resort to TV and video games when we have free time - not exactly the best choice for quality time, right? Definitely not made for making memories and building relationships. I'd love to have an option like a bagful of games!

  75. Spending time with family and friends is the one thing you will never regret doing. We try and do family game nights once a week but would like to do more...we just decided to throw away our TV to help us...this looks like a fun way to get our anti-tv nights off to a great start! We want to teach our kids that people are more important then things...

  77. My husband and I love games and really enjoy being together so we aren't suffering, but sometimes we need some personal, face-to-face time. Going on dates together or sitting on the couch while he rubs lotion on my feet just hits the spot for me.

  84. There are 10 of us; someone is always coming and going. When we are home together we're scrambling to get the dishes put away or the laundry washed. I try to find ways for us to interact in a fun manner, but I'm not as creative as I'd like.

This game sounds like a great way to spend a few minutes or a few hours, just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. I am eager to see the other games that you carry in your store as well.

  85. DH and I love playing cards or board games when family or friends come to visit, but we definitely need more time together. We have a 5 1/2 y.o., 3 3/4 y.o., and 2 y.o. (and I'm pregnant), and mostly the hindrance in games is how our 2 y.o. wants to "help" and "get involved." You can't blame him, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the chance to win!

  86. I need to spend more time with family and particularly friends because it is just so easy to lose touch! Thanks for the giveaway!

  87. Please enter me into your drawing.

Why do we need more quality time with the family?

Last June my 36 year old husband, healthy as a horse was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer. It was like hitting a brick wall when we got the news. He showed no real symptoms of this disease was out playing hockey, working a lot of overtime.

It really opened our eyes as to how fleeting life really is and how things can change in an instant. It made him realize that our girls are young now and that he should be spending more time WITH them instead of working more to get things for them. Because you just never know, thankfully he is doing well now, and back at work but we are doing more things together. He even signed up to do the daddy daughter dance at our oldest's dance recital this year.

  88. Very cool giveaway. We definitely need more quality time together as a family. Our DDs are growing up so fast and the weeks are flying by and sometimes it's hard to remember any FUN we've had in a given week.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks for a great giveaway! I hope I'm the lucky winner! :)

we hve game night -- we need family time because society has drifted away from family and one-ness and family activities -- everyone is off doing their own thing..and truly it casts off into our communities as well. Most people have lived in a house over 10 years yet still dont know their neighbors!

    ReplyDelete
  90. This would give the kids & I something fun to do while waiting for daddy to get home from work. Thanks for the contest.

  91. I'd love to spend more quality time with my nephews when they come around, instead of having them run around the house while yelling all the time.
