Why didn't anyone tell me before I became a mother?

I've been writing a serious Mother's Day post in my head all day.

But what it comes down to is that the words escape me.

So just know, I have the sweetest husband and kids anyone could ever ask for.

Oh, that husband of mine. *sigh* How is it possible to be so much in love?


Just one question....why didn't anyone show this to me before I had kids? It would have saved me a lot of trouble. (click to see it up close!)

Seriously. Is it just me who seems to have an empty head right now? I'm knockin' but all I hear is this weird hollow sound. I can't seem to remember anything and I have about a dozen airhead moments every. day. And no, I'm not pregnant. I guess I just have a lot going on.

As a little update, things have been crazy. Eldon had two phone interviews this week. Then he had an interview 2 1/2 hours away today, he has another more than 3 hours away tomorrow (luckily my sweet friend Angela is going to tend for me so I can go too), and then he has another... get this....Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. another 2 1/2 hours away. And all three of these are in completely different directions. It's insane. But the exciting this is....we're getting interviews!!

Anyway, back to my airhead moment. I totally forgot that my book giveaway ended last night and I needed to pick a winner today.

Ohhhhhh.....that's why I've been comment deprived!

So I was just wondering why I haven't gotten much comments lately. And then I realized I hadn't posted since Wednesday, well actually it was Tuesday wasn't it? It has just been one of those weeks, ya know?

But I just want to tell you, my wonderful readers, that I am still here. I am working on many different things and have lots of fun posts coming up. I have two new giveaways coming up next week, two giveaways that end tomorrow. (although one was a secret) I have some fun reviews, and that's not all!

I am going to tell you how to make a button, (although really, if you have a picture you want to use I'd be glad to make it for you, just let me know). I am going to tell you about my latest books, I am hopefully going to share some scrapbooking I will be doing soon, and of course my usual, well, you know, whatever!

I hope you all had a great week! (with no bisquick thrown throughout your house and rolly poops finding their way to places they shouldn't go) And I hope you have an even better weekend!
