So yeah, I know I'm not chic.... (a giveaway)

But that totally does not keep me from lovin' these ChicBuds!!

I have seen giveaways for these very cute earphones, and I've tried winning them, to no avail. So a while ago I contacted them and they agreed to send me one to review AND one to give away to one of my awesome readers!! How sweet is that?!!



I got to try the Watermelon on White "flavor" and they are just delish! They look awesome with my pink Zen Mosaic that I won back in November. And even though I am totally not chic, I can pretend when I'm rocking out with these babies in my ear!

Oh, so you think they're just cute and stylin'? Well let me tell you that is not all that I love about these! I have tried other earphones, and they always end up in a tangled mess or lost somewhere in oblivion. These are retractable, easy to use, and hard to lose! They are also comfy and have a nifty little clip so they don't flap all over when you're jammin' and movin'. What more could a music lovin' chick want? Oh! And do you have a jammin' dude in your house? They have RockBuds for your dude, too!

    Well I suppose it depends on your definition of cool! Stick me in the hallway at the local high school and I am a nerd. But here in my home I can dance and sing, I have cool clothes (fun retro t-shirts and such) and I can read the Poky Little Puppy like nobody else.

    Yeahhhhh, not so chic myself. But I'd say what makes me cool is that I am not afraid to try new things, even when they make me look a little silly. For instance, I recently joined this hardcore crazy hard gym called Crossfit. For a 30-something woman with 30 pounds to gain, this place is literally INSANE. But every Monday and Friday, I have got myself back to the gym and done my best. Even when it made me want to puke. So that's pretty cool, I think.

    If I win, I would love the Breast Cancer Awareness, white, ChicBud. Two of my Grandmothers are survivors and I am diong a 3 mile walk with one of them this June for the Susan G.     What makes me a nerd? Because I am definitely not cool. lol. I love to stay home and watch TV or read books. Spend time with my family. I'm not hip or with it when it comes to my clothes.     I don't care if I'm cool. I am a big nerd, though, because I actually LIKE to analyze things, come up with solutions...and test my kid on vocabulary (I won't mention my majors in college, cuz that just solidifies the nerd factor).

    My 11 year old thinks I am cool and that's good enough for me. I think its because I try to keep up on the latest music (to screen it really), the latest fashion (so its not idly hanging in her closet) and the latest chatter (so we have something to talk about).
